Calm Jewelry (MACARIUS AUSTRALIA, ABN 54 513 897 466) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Orders: your name, email, phone number, shipping address, the items and options you choose, and any personalisation text.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as card brand), never your full card number.
- Accounts: if you create one — your name, email and sign-in details (email/password or Google sign-in), wishlist, likes and order history.
- Messages and enquiries: what you send us through forms, reviews or email.
- Website use: anonymous counts of visits, product views, clicks and baskets, the approximate region from your device's time zone, device type, browser language and the site that referred you. We also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure visits (country/city, pages, device).
How we use it
- To make, ship and support your order, including sending tracking details and answering questions.
- To run your account, and to improve our products and website.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we only send marketing emails if you ask to receive them.
Who we share it with
- Our workshop partner, who makes and ships your order — they receive your name, shipping address, phone number and order details. They are located in China, so this information is disclosed overseas for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
- Delivery carriers and customs, as needed to deliver your parcel.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (website hosting, accounts and order database) and Google Analytics. These providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
- Authorities, where required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep your bag, wishlist and sign-in working, and for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop will still work, but you may need to sign in again.
Keeping it safe
Your data is stored with reputable providers using encrypted connections and access controls. We keep order records for as long as needed for your order, warranties, and tax and accounting requirements.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, by emailing spinringstudio@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can fix it. Australian customers can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
